Adam Baynard


Adam Baynard joined the staff of Walker’s Funeral Home in January 2018. He is from “Small Town Friendly” Rutherford County, North Carolina. A 1999 honor graduate of Fayetteville Technical Community College, Adam was the recipient of the President’s Award. Adam is actively involved in the North Carolina Funeral Directors Association (NCFDA), where he serves on the Board of Directors and oversees District 5 in the state and has contributed articles to the NC Funeral Director’s Magazine the Tarheel Director. In 2013, Adam was selected to attend a program put on by the National Funeral Directors Association at the prestigious Harvard University Faculty Club in Boston, where he learned from three of the top funeral providers in the United States. In 2018, Adam was selected as a recipient of a Funeral Service Foundation Career Development Award. Adam is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in North and South Carolina with over twenty years’ experience of serving families in their time of need and also served for 12 years as a NC EMT. He resides in the triad area, and in his free time enjoys spending time with his family, watching UNC Tarheel sporting events, cooking and traveling.
Tommy Brown


Tommy joined the staff of Walker’s Funeral Home in September 2018. Previously he was with Rich and Thompson Funeral service, Burlington-Graham for over 28 years. Tommy is a graduate of Eastern Alamance High School, Mebane and Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta. A native of Alamance County, Tommy and his wife, Tammy Coffey Brown reside in Graham. They have two children, a daughter, Audrey Dale Brown and a son, Thomas William Brown, II. Tammy has two older daughters, Nickole Foust Jones and husband Josh and Brooke Elizabeth Clark. They have three grandchildren, Peyton, Hudson and Emerson Jones. He attends Bellemont United Methodist Church in Burlington. Tommy is a volunteer with the Graham Fire Department. He enjoys spending time with family and friends and being involved with his children’s sports activities. Tommy’s hobbies include camping, boating and manicuring his lawn.
Seth Bowden

Seth Bowden

Seth Bowden, who comes to us from Rich and Thompson Funeral Services in Burlington and Graham has joined the staff of Walkers Funeral Home and Crematory of Mebane . Seth is a native of Alamance County and the son of Ken and Mary Bowden. He is married to Erica Shambley Bowden, who works at the House of Hair in Haw River and they have one son, Cayson. Seth graduated from Southern Alamance High School in 2006 and attended Fayetteville Technical Community College. He is a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Graham. Seth is an avid Duke, Atlanta Braves and Carolina Panthers fan. Seth has been serving families for over 12 years.

Features that include a 150 seat chapel, visitation room, and reception area. It is up to date with technology, giving us the ability to show memorial DVD's, as well as other videos in every room, including the chapel. We are also able to broadcast funeral services in our chapel throughout the funeral home. With a crematory on-site, our Mebane facility is able to handle every type of arrangement. The facility is staffed and open, so please come by for a visit to see what the new funeral home looks like and meet our wonderful staff, Adam, Tommy, Diana, Seth and Glenn.
